ZTech Studios apps use only the permissions necessary to provide secure, reliable functionality. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data unless explicitly stated. All data handled by our apps remains on your device unless you choose to export or back it up.
This page explains the permissions used by each ZTech Studios application and why they are required.
MessageVault Permissions
SMS (Read Messages)
Purpose: Allows MessageVault to read SMS messages stored on your device so they can be backed up, exported, or viewed inside the app.
How it’s used:
- Messages are processed locally on your device.
- No SMS data is transmitted to ZTech Studios or any third party.
- You control when and how your messages are exported.
Storage (Read & Write Files)
Purpose: Allows MessageVault to save exported message files and read files you choose to import.
How it’s used:
- Exported backups are saved to your device’s storage.
- No files are uploaded or shared.
- You choose the export location.
G Convert Permissions
Storage (Read & Write Files)
Purpose: Allows G Convert to open files for conversion and save the converted output.
How it’s used:
- Files are processed locally on your device.
- No file content is transmitted to ZTech Studios or any external service.
- Only files you manually select are accessed.
Data Handling & Security
Local Processing
All data handled by MessageVault and G Convert remains on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.
No Cloud Sync (Unless Enabled)
Neither app uploads data to ZTech Studios servers. If cloud backup is offered in the future, it will be optional and clearly disclosed.
No Third‑Party Sharing
We do not sell, share, or distribute your data.
